The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
A coming-of-age novel with vivid characters. Highly recommended. ~ Jen. L
Competence by Gail Carriger
This is book #3 in The Custard Protocol series, and I just think the books are getting better and better. This book continues to delve into the different relationships aboard the Spotted Custard, as well as introduces a new type of vampire. I definitely recommend this book for all Gail Carriger and steampunk fans!

A Woman is No Man by Etaf Rum
Great book. Eye opening and thought provoking. Teaches a lot about different cultures and how simply being in America doesn't always mean you can adopt American ways. ~ Rachel W.
The Institute by Stephen King
I really enjoyed The Institute. I became very invested in the main characters and really hoped they would make it. I couldn't put the book down, and had several nights of staying up past my bedtime to get to the end. The story really makes you question what evil humans are capable of, and how they can rationalize their behavior. Highly recommended! ~ Linnea S.
Dangerous Man by Robert Crais
Another well told story from Robert Crais.
