Hello WooReaders! Sometimes we like a good scare, so this week's WooReads adult patron book reviews feature spooky stories about things that go bump in the night. Remember that you can still log your books for
WooReads: The Adult Read-In Challenge. We have until May 31st to reach our community goal of 5,000 books read. We can do it Worcester!
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
Very good book. Stays with you long after you finished. ~ Miriam V.
The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
Great book! ~ Janis G.
Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky
Weird read. Overlong horror fantasy of 700 pages. I think it somewhat dragged. ~ Karen S.
A Cosmology of Monsters by Shaun Hamill
A well-told story that toes the line between horror & sci-fi. The characters are relatable, so it's just as much a family drama as it is a horror story. ~ Tara J.
