Love, love, love this book. One of the best I have read this year. It centers on an ASL interpreter and a DeafBlind young man. So interesting. It really makes you stop and think about how we perceive the world, the assumptions we make. The ending was great, although a bit unbelievable. I found myself rooting for almost all the characters.      ~ Abigail H.

Solid 4/5. Ashley Flowers is a great storyteller, although the book was clearly JonBenet -inspired. I can't wait to see more from her! ~ Shana B.

This book was phenomenal. I loved that it wasn't just an analysis/review of Toni Morrison's work but interwoven memories and direct comparisons to the world in which we live. It goes to show that her work is timeless. ~ Chloe H.

Easy read that moves quickly. Back on forth timing with present day and past that tell Lucky’s back story and people she is interacting with. Enjoyed but thought the ending was rushed.~ Shannon V.
